Answers in Genesis opened the Creation Museum, in Petersburg, Kentucky, in 2007, expecting 200,000 visitors their first year. Instead, many thousands over that number experienced the wonder of Biblically-based, world-class presentations in the amazing new facility! Last year we had 63 people, join us on a wonderful three-day trip to the Museum. The response was overwhelmingly positive. We have decided to repeat the trip this year!
Beginning Sunday, June 13, you are invited to participate in our three-day venture to the Creation Museum. We will depart from Dubuque at 6:45 a.m. in the parking lot of Arbor Oaks Bible Chapel, 2843 Kennedy Rd., Dubuque, IA, for the 500-mile trip to Petersburg, Kentucky.
- Approx 7:30AM PICK UP at SteepleGate INN at the junction of I-80 and Rt. 61 in Davenport. You may leave a car in the hotel parking lot.
- Our two nights of lodging will be at the Country Inn and Suites.
- We will spend Monday touring the museum.
- On Tuesday, June 15, we will return to Dubuque, by about 5:30 p.m. (stop at Davenport ~4:30pm)
The experience at the Museum will be most profitable for those in 5th grade and up. However, children in 1st grade and up may join their families for trip. Last year the new friends we made and our fellowship along the way were very special added blessings.
A non-refundable deposit of $85.00 is due with each reservation. Reservations will be made on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment will be due by May 30.

Trip cost per person:
Adult: One per hotel room……………………..$315.00
Two per hotel room……………………..$225.00
Three per hotel room……………………$195.00
Four per hotel room…………………….$180.00
Child (12 and under in parents’ room)………..$127.00
Child (13 and over in parents’ room)………….$135.00
(For families needing more than four per room, suites are available at a slightly higher cost.)
The cost covers all of the following:
-Transportation….including tips and bus driver’s lodging
-Hotel Stay….including breakfast buffet, pool, hot tub, and exercise equipment
-Museum Visit….including Planetarium show, “Men in White” special effects theater show, Botanical Gardens, and Petting Zoo
-One Restaurant Dinner….on arrival in Kentucky at the Golden Corral
The following are not included in the cost:
-Two lunches on the road (such as Culvers or Arby’s)
-One lunch at the museum (reasonable options there)
-One evening meal at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant
