Creation  Museum  Bus  Trip

Answers in Genesis opened the Creation Museum, in Petersburg, Kentucky, in 2007, expecting 200,000 visitors their first year.  Instead, many thousands over that number experienced the wonder of  Biblically-based, world-class presentations in the amazing new facility!  You may visit CreationMuseum.org online for more information.

Everyone we know who visited the museum says it was an overwhelmingly positive experience.  We have decided to offer a group trip with many extras this year!

On Sunday, March March 11, 2012, you are invited to participate in our two-day adventure to the Creation Museum.  We will depart from Davenport at 12 noon in the parking lot of Grace Evg. Free Church  for the trip to Petersburg, Kentucky.  ( you can leave a car in the parking lot overnight, though no insuance is offered on your car). Dinner included enroute to hotel.

• Our lodging will be at the Country Inn and Suites. Double Occupancy in base price, rooms for families are available if you book early enough.
• We will spend Monday touring the museum and Planetarium.
• Monday we depart from the museum by .m.  (stop at Davenport ~4:30pm)

The experience at the Museum will be most profitable for those in 5th grade and up.  However, children in 1st grade and up may join their families for trip.  Last year the new friends we made and our fellowship along the way were very special added blessings.

A non-refundable deposit of $80.00 is due with each reservation by 11 Feb. 2012.  Reservations will be made on a first-come-first-served basis.  Full payment will be due by March 1st.

The cost covers all of the following:

-Transportation….including tips and bus driver’s lodging

-Hotel Stay….including breakfast buffet, pool, hot tub, and exercise equipment

-Museum Visit….including Planetarium show, “Men in White” special effects theater show, Botanical Gardens, and Petting Zoo

-One Restaurant Dinner….enroute or on arrival in Kentucky.

The following are not included in the cost:

-Departure  lunches / snacks.

-One lunch at the museum (reasonable options there)

-One evening meal at a Restaurant
