 The Field Museum Evolving Planet: a Monument to a Myth

The many wonderful displays of nature in the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago are interpreted from an evolutionary perspective. In this talk you will see three scientific flaws found in the first forty steps of the Evolving Planet exhibit. You’ll learn four worldview assumptions that guide evolutionists and what alternative assumptions Biblical creationists make that fit the same facts of science. And, you will be surprised by miracles required for the evolutionary story to work.

Dr. Jerry Bergman    “Are Vestigial Organs Evidence for Evolution ?”

 Vestigial Organs (like tonsils and the appendix) are often cited to be left over from our evolutionary past.  They are still listed as a proof of evolution in our public school text books.   But it was only ignorance of how they are used in our bodies and a prior commitment to evolution that caused these organs to be listed as a ‘proof’ of evolution.    Dr. Jerry Bergman, professor of  biochemistry at NW State College in Ohio and co-author of “Vestigial Organs are Fully Functional”  will show how wrong this assumption is. There is indeed purpose in what the Creator designed.

  “Fossil Evidence is Confirmation of the Creation Account”

Fossils are often listed as evidence for evolution – even though the fossil record has huge gaps in it that fit today’s animal classifications.   Dr. Bergman will review the claims made on the fossil record sequences and discuss the supposed transitional forms often cited as examples of evolution.   Dr. Bergman holds 5 masters degrees and 2 PhD’s (Psychology and Human Biology).
